Ingredients
- 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled, deveined & diced
- 1 cup lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded & minced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Tortilla chips for serving
- Lime wedges for garnish
Method
- Marinate shrimp: Toss the diced shrimp with lime juice in a bowl. Cover & refrigerate for 30–45 minutes, or until the shrimp turns opaque (the acid “cooks” it).
