Ingredients
- 1 pound pork belly, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 4-6 green chili peppers, sliced (adjust to your spice preference)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced (optional)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions
- Prepare the Pork Belly:
- In a pot, boil the pork belly cubes for about 5-7 minutes to remove excess impurities. Drain and set aside.
- Stir-Fry:
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork belly and stir-fry until golden brown and slightly crispy (about 5-8 minutes).
- Add minced garlic and ginger, stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add Chili Peppers and Sauce:
- Add sliced green chili peppers and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and sesame oil.
- Pour the sauce over the pork belly and chili peppers. Stir well to combine.
- Simmer and Serve:
- Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the pork belly evenly.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
