Ingredients
For the Beef
1 lb (450 g) beef strips (sirloin or flank)
2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
For the Mushrooms
2 cups (200 g) mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
For the Creamy Garlic Herb Sauce
1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
½ cup (50 g) grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried parsley
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Garnish
Fresh parsley or thyme
Directions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat.
Add beef, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until browned and slightly crispy. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds, then add mushrooms and cook until golden and tender.
Reduce heat and add heavy cream, parmesan, thyme, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
Simmer for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Return beef to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.
