Ingredients:
- 12 oz fettuccine
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 lb sirloin steak, sliced into thin strips
- 2 tbsp butter (for the steak)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt (for seasoning the steak)
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp butter (for the sauce)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 4 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
Directions:
- Start by boiling a large pot of salted water. Cook the fettuccine until it reaches a tender texture. Once done, drain the pasta and set it aside.
- In a large skillet heated over medium-high heat, combine olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for a short time until it becomes fragrant.
- Next, add the thinly sliced steak strips along with black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and Italian seasoning. Sear the steak until it develops a deep brown color with caramelized edges while remaining juicy inside.
- Drizzle honey over the steak in the pan and toss everything until the steak is well-coated with a glossy honey garlic glaze. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside, but leave the glaze in the pan.
- Lower the heat to medium and add an additional 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet, allowing it to melt.
- Pour in the heavy cream and whole milk, stirring until it’s warmed through.
- Add the cubed Velveeta cheese and stir until it completely melts and becomes smooth.
- Then, incorporate the shredded mozzarella, provolone, and grated Parmesan. Continue stirring until the sauce thickens and becomes rich and cheesy.
- Season the sauce with garlic powder and onion powder to enhance the flavor.
- Toss the cooked fettuccine into the sauce, ensuring each strand is coated and enveloped in the cheesy goodness.
- Finally, return the honey garlic steak strips to the skillet and gently fold everything together so that the glaze and cheese mix together beautifully.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the dish while it is hot and deliciously stretchy.
