- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or chicken thighs)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot (slow cooker).
- In a bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ketchup, oregano, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook:
- LOW for 6 hours, or
- HIGH for 3β4 hours
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water to make a slurry. Stir it into the sauce in the crockpot.
- Let it cook for another 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
