1 lb (500 g) ground beef
2 cups cooked rice or quinoa
2 cups chopped lettuce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup cherry tomatoes (cut in half)
½ cup sliced pickles
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Burger Sauce
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon pickle juice
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
Season with salt, pepper, and a little garlic powder.
2️⃣ Prepare the base
In each bowl add a layer of rice or quinoa.
3️⃣ Add the vegetables
Top with chopped lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles.
4️⃣ Add the beef
Place the cooked ground beef over the vegetables.
5️⃣ Add cheese
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
6️⃣ Make the sauce
Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
7️⃣ Finish the bowl
Drizzle the burger sauce over the bowl and sprinkle green onions on top.
