Ingredients:
12 chicken wings 🍗
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder 🧄
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
180 ml (¾ cup) BBQ sauce
1 tbsp honey
300 g (10 oz) spaghetti 🍝
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
400 g (14 oz) crushed tomatoes 🍅
1 tsp dried oregano
40 g (½ cup) grated parmesan 🧀
1 kg (2.2 lb) potatoes, cut into fries 🥔
Chopped parsley for finishing 🌿
Instructions:
Heat oven to 220°C / 425°F. Toss wings with oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Roast wings for 30 minutes, turning once halfway.
Mix BBQ sauce with honey and brush generously over the wings. Return to oven for 8–10 minutes until sticky and caramelized.
Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve a splash of pasta water.
Heat olive oil in a pan, cook garlic for 30 seconds, add tomatoes and oregano, and simmer 10 minutes. Toss with spaghetti and loosen with pasta water if needed. Finish with parmesan.
Toss fries with a little oil and salt. Bake at 220°C / 425°F for 35–40 minutes, turning once until crisp.
Plate the wings beside the spaghetti and fries. Finish with parsley.
