Ingredients:
2 cups tortellini
1 lb chicken breast, cubed
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 lemon, juiced
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Directions:
Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add cubed chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss to coat with the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves and a slice of lemon before serving.
