ingredients :
- 550 g ground beef
- 2 onion, finely chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 800 g canned crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 300 g lasagna sheets
- 550 g ricotta cheese
- 2 egg
- 300 g shredded mozzarella cheese
- 100 g grated parmesan cheese
- Olive oil for sautéing
instructions :
Step 1. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
Step 2. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
Step 3. Stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with egg and a pinch of salt.
Step 5. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 6. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in a baking dish.
Step 7. Add a layer of lasagna sheets, then spread ricotta mixture, meat sauce, and a sprinkle of mozzarella.
Step 8. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up, finishing with sauce and both cheeses on top.
Step 9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Step 10. Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes until golden and bubbly. Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
