Ingredients
For the Brussels Sprouts
1 lb (450 g) brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
For the Walnut Honey
3 tbsp (45 ml) honey
¼ cup (30 g) walnuts, finely chopped
1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
Pinch of chili flakes (optional)
Garnish
Extra walnuts
Fresh parsley
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Thread halved brussels sprouts onto skewers, packing them closely together.
Brush with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Place skewers on a baking tray.
Roast for 25–30 minutes, turning halfway, until deeply golden and crispy on the edges.
In a small pan, warm honey with olive oil and chopped walnuts until slightly thickened.
Remove skewers from oven and brush generously with walnut honey glaze.
Sprinkle with extra walnuts and chili flakes if using.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve warm as a side or appetizer.
