Ingredients:
For the Braai Meats:
- 2 T-bone or sirloin steaks
- 4 chicken drumsticks or thighs
- 500g boerewors
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & black pepper to taste
For the Pap:
- 2 cups maize meal
- 4 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
For the Chakalaka:
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 green pepper (chopped)
- 1 carrot (grated)
- 2 tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tbsp oil
For the Vegetables:
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, broccoli, green beans)
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt & pepper
Optional Sides:

- Coleslaw
- Potato salad
- Grilled corn on the cob
Instructions:
- Prepare the braai or grill and heat to medium-high.
- Season steak, chicken, and boerewors with olive oil and spices.
- Grill the boerewors until browned and cooked through.
- Braai the chicken until golden and juicy.
- Cook the steaks to your preferred doneness.
- For the pap, bring water and salt to a boil.
- Gradually stir in maize meal and cook until thick and smooth.
