Ingredients:
-4–6 eggs
-Water
-½ teaspoon baking soda (optional)
-Ice or very cold water
Instructions:
1️⃣ Place the eggs in a pot
Put the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with water (about 1 inch / 2–3 cm above the eggs).
2️⃣ Boil the eggs
Bring the water to a boil over medium heat.
Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat and cook the eggs for 10 minutes.
3️⃣ Ice bath
Immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water and leave them for 5 minutes.
This helps the shells come off easily.
🥚 How to Peel the Eggs Without Damaging Them
4️⃣ Tap the egg gently on a table to crack the shell.
5️⃣ Roll the egg lightly with your hand to loosen the shell.
6️⃣ Start peeling from the wider end (where the air pocket is).
The shell should slide off easily and the egg will stay smooth and perfect.
⭐ Tip:
Eggs that are a few days old peel much easier than very fresh eggs.
