Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bread (white or sourdough, lightly toasted)
- 1 large ripe tomato (sliced thick)
- 1β2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
- Salt (to taste)
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Chili flakes (optional)
- Fresh basil leaves (optional but recommended)

Instructions:
- Prepare the bread
Toast the bread lightly, then spread mayonnaise evenly on one or both slices.
- Layer the tomatoes
Place thick slices of tomato on the bread. Donβt be shyβthis is the star.
- Season well
Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and chili flakes over the tomatoes.
- Add the sauce twist
Drizzle olive oil and balsamic glaze generously on top.
- Finish with herbs
Add fresh basil leaves for extra flavor.
- Assemble & serve
Close the sandwich (or keep it open-faced) and enjoy immediately.
