🍋 Homemade Lemon Powder

Ingredients:

  • 4–6 lemons
  • (Optional) a little sugar if you want sweet lemon powder

Instructions 👩‍🍳

  1. Wash the lemons very well and dry them completely.
  2. Peel the lemon zest carefully (avoid too much white part because it can taste bitter).
  3. Spread the peels on a tray.
  4. Dry them:
    • In the oven at 80–90°C (175–195°F) for about 1–2 hours, OR
    • Use a food dehydrator, OR
    • Air dry for several days until completely dry.
  5. Once fully dried and crispy, grind them into a fine powder using a blender or spice grinder.
  6. Store in an airtight jar.

  • Add to cakes and desserts
  • Mix into cookies or pastries
  • Add to tea
  • Use in sauces and marinades
  • Sprinkle into drinks for extra lemon flavor
