Ingredients:
- 1½ lbs ground beef
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the sauce:
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 onion, sliced (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into hamburger steak patties.
- Brown the patties in a skillet for 2–3 minutes per side.
- Place the browned patties into a baking dish. Add sliced onions if using.
- In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup with milk until smooth. Pour over the patties.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30–40 minutes, until fully cooked and tender.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables.
