Ingredients:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, egg, baking soda, vanilla and salt. Stir until the dough is smooth and well combined.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls. Place them on the baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Using a fork, gently press down on each ball to create a crisscross pattern.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers still look slightly soft.
- Remove cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
